Follow the steps below to install your eSIM on your device. Oppo.

eSIM Installation and Activation Guide

Brand:

Make sure you have a stable internet connection before starting the installation, ideally using a Wi-Fi network or a strong 4G/5G signal.

Before traveling (installation):

Open "Settings" on your mobile device

Within settings, select the option 'Mobile Network'.

Select the eSIM option

Select the eSIM option and Turn it ON.

Add an eSIM

the "Add eSIM" button and if your device asks if you want to download a SIM select "Next".

Scan the QR code you received via email

Scan the QR code. Select "Download" if your device asks if you want to use the eSIM.

Press the "Settings" button

Once your device indicates that the download is complete, press the "Settings" button.

Select the eSIM option again

Within this menu, you can enable or disable your eSIM. If you are not yet at your destination, we recommend keeping it turned OFF.

Upon arriving at your destination (activation):

Turn off your primary SIM and turn on the eSIM

Upon arriving at your destination, go into the eSIM menu and "Enable" your eSIM. Also, turn off your primary SIM to avoid charges from your provider while abroad.

Enable Data Roaming IMPORTANT!

Make sure "Data Roaming" is enabled. You can find this option in the eSIM menu (where you activate it) or in the 'Mobile Networks'/'Mobile Plans' menu.

If you can’t locate this option, use the search bar in Settings to find 'Roaming'.

After your trip

Re-enable your primary SIM, and then you can deactivate or remove the DatosdeViaje eSIM.

We recommend not to remove the eSIM, so that you can top it up for your next trip, avoiding the need to reinstall a new eSIM.

How to top-up your eSIM if you run out of data

If you registered an account with us:

Go to our website and navigate to the 'My eSIM' section.
Log in with your username and password.
Select the eSIM you want to top-up and click the green button that says 'Top-up eSIM'.
Follow the top-up steps.
Enjoy your internet connection—no need to install a new eSIM with a QR code.

If you did not register an account with us:

Click on the 'Consumption' button provided in the email where you received your QR code.
Select the eSIM you want to top-up and click the green button that says 'Top-up eSIM'
Follow the top-up steps.
Enjoy your internet connection—no need to install a new eSIM with a QR code.
